Full-Time Videographer & Editor

About the Role

Keligraphic Studios is a rapidly growing video and photo production studio based in Kelowna, BC. We're looking for a full-time videographer and editor to join our small, passionate team of 3.

This is not a role for hobbyists or casual content creators. We are looking for someone who is serious about their craft, and wants to grow with a team to make the best videos in the Okanagan.

If you've ever paused a movie just to admire the lighting, you might be one of us.

If your hard drive is full of test footage no one's ever seen, we feel you.

If you have 4 YouTube tabs open right now comparing lenses, we definitely want to talk.

What You'll Be Doing

Shooting a range of projects including commercials, website videos, YouTube and Instagram content, product and lifestyle shoots, and many more for a variety of amazing clients. Traveling to shoots around the Okanagan region (primarily Kelowna) Editing using DaVinci Resolve (or similar) for both short-form and long-form content Solo shoots and team shoots depending on the project, occasionally outside of normal business hours. Collaborating with our internal team to plan, produce, and deliver consistent, high-quality media Working from home for editing tasks, we offer an in-person casual collaborative workspace, but not required to come in like an office job.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1-3 years experience shooting and editing content for clients freelance, projects, or agencies A strong and diverse portfolio or showreel (required) Proficient in at least one professional video editing software (ideally DaVinci Resolve) Strong camera knowledge (we shoot Sony E-mount, but experience with other systems is acceptable) Understanding technical aspects of production (lighting/exposure, LOG/r709 Reliable transportation and ability to travel to shoots within the region Excellent time management, communication, and responsiveness Interest in ongoing learning, gear reviews, and keeping up with production trends

Nice to Have

Photography experience and editing using Lightroom and Photoshop (or similar tools) Previous work on commercial sets, brand content, or client-based video production Experience working in fast-paced environments or with small teams Humorous

Compensation and Details

Full-time position (40h/week) $50,000 per year based on experience and capabilities Flexible hours and remote editing work Must be based in the Okanagan and available for in-person shoots All gear provided if needed, though you may use your own You are not only allowed to, but encouraged to continue doing your own side projects and freelance work on the side as well.
