About Us

At Leaman Signs, we don't just make signs, we build landmarks. From towering pylon signs to custom archways to the daily life of running a sign shop, every project tells a story. Now, we're ready to tell our story. We're launching a YouTube channel to showcase the behind-the-scenes of our shop, the installs, the wins, the struggles, and everything in between.

We're looking for a videographer who can capture it all and turn it into content people actually want to watch, while also helping us build an internal training library to make our team stronger.

The Role

As our videographer, you'll follow the owner and crew through the daily life of a busy fabrication and installation business. You'll film everything from shop builds to crane installs to business meetings, and shape that raw footage into compelling YouTube (and other platforms) videos, shorts, and social content.

Beyond YouTube, you'll also play a key role in

documenting our processes for training

. That means creating video SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) that capture how we fabricate, install, and work safely, so future team members can learn quickly and consistently.

Responsibilities

Film day-to-day operations in the shop, on installs, and on the road Edit footage into polished long-form YouTube episodes and short clips Create attention-grabbing thumbnails, titles, and descriptions Collaborate on storylines: turn the daily grind into watchable, entertaining content Stay on top of YouTube/social trends and apply them to our content

Film and edit video SOPs for internal training and safety

Manage and organize video files for both public and internal use

What We're Looking For

Strong videography and editing skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve) Ability to tell a story through visuals andcapture clear step-by-step instructional footage Self-starter who can work in a fast-moving, sometimes chaotic environment Flexible schedule--our days don't always fit a 9-5 mould Interest in business, trades, or fabrication is a bonus (but not required) Drone experience = big plus
