Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in digital advertising or associated marketing technology

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience leading and influencing complex strategic and operational initiatives across internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience planning, buying, or measuring offline and online media


  • Experience identifying how market trends will translate into business opportunities and building into a Go-To-Market strategy that will accelerate growth for YouTube and third-party Video
  • Ability to develop and deliver a simple, compelling message and translate that into narratives, sales collateral
  • Business acumen and problem-solving/analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. As a Video Strategy and Activation Lead, you will work with some of Google\'s brand advertisers, agency partners, and Google\'s internal sales team to incubate, unlock, and accelerate opportunities for growth. Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world\xe2\x80\x99s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird\xe2\x80\x99s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We\'re uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google\'s broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Advocate for the power of YouTube and Video both externally (e.g., customers, media agencies) and internally (e.g., leadership, sales teams, cross-functional global teams).
  • Identify new strategic opportunities for YouTube and Video to drive impact in the market (e.g., connected TV and future forms of media consumption).
  • Work with regional/global go-to-market leads and develop compelling brand solutions.

  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders in the sales and product organizations appropriately framing around business rationale, advertiser needs, and business growth opportunities.
