The Video Producer will work as a member of the Media Productions Team and will prepare, produce and direct videos and audio materials used mainly as learning objectives for education and teaching support for NLHS\'s staff, patients/clients/residents, and clinicians. This will include a wide range of media including instructional, promotional and live, multi-camera events for the organization. Responsibilities will also involve working directly with executive, front line staff, clinicians and external clients to satisfy project requirements; training Healthcare Technology and Data Management staff in using video and media material to deliver quality healthcare initiatives; researching, scheduling, and writing various types of media; preparing, producing and directing videos and audio materials; setting up and troubleshooting various types of production equipment used during multi-camera mobile broadcasts and recordings; and other related duties as required.Job Demands

Regularly moves/lifts objects 10 - 25 lbs., and may require the lifting of monitors, video and computer equipment up to 40 lbs. from site to site. Being in awkward or cramped positions may be required when setting up video equipment.
Constantly performs fine finger/precision while using video software/equipment especially when editing sound and visual clips of recorded data.
Constantly requires visual concentration to read computer monitors, set up and troubleshoot various types of production equipment.
Constantly uses and operates equipment, such as video equipment, requiring controlled movement in order to get a specific angle when producing.
Regularly sits at workstation while creating educational scripts, reports and editing videos. Regularly stands during event simulations while holding and supporting cameras and video equipment. Walking is required during events at various sites.Job Qualifications
Graduation from a recognized/approved diploma in Media Production or Electronics Technology is required.
Minimum of three years of experience within the last five in media producing/directing is required.
Experience in the set-up and operation of production studio equipment used for live and virtual events, including audio consoles, computers, teleprompters, microphones, etc., is required.
Post-production experience using production software is required.
Experience producing and directing multi-camera mobile productions is required.
Knowledge of production techniques including videography, compression, and file delivery and other production formats.
Knowledge of educational technologies for the delivery of training.
Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage a variety of complex, highly creative projects with changing priorities and deadlines.
Demonstrated a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to communicate and articulate digital media products and options and adapt to alternatives when appropriate.
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with and provide customer service to a broad variety of collaborators and stakeholders.
