Reporting to the Video Content Manager, the Video Editor Specialist will ensure the creative vision is effectively produced and communicated in the various videos assigned. As a video editor, you will use your creativity, attention to detail and skill to elevate our projects and create stories that resonate with our target audience.

The Video Editor Specialist\xe2\x80\x99s role will be to showcase seasonal collections as well as promotional and marketing campaigns on various channels (e.g. TV, YouTube, in-store screens, organic channels, social media platforms). Using an agile method, the person will work closely with various applicants and teams from different departments, including Marketing.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create dynamic and engaging promotional videos
  • Logging of the audiovisual content and to establish a work plan with the person in charge of video content
  • Edit the content while striving to respect the established time limits
  • Find editing solutions that responds to feedback given
  • Perform the necessary exports and captures, according to the assets requested
  • Perform colorization of videos, if applicable
  • Perform music research, audio mixing of audiovisual content
  • Understanding and ability to operate graphic design projects
  • Consult with stakeholders throughout the production and post-production process
  • Ensure that the naming convention of the files and their classification respect the processes of the department and participate in the organization of the data servers and tools
  • Develop new audiovisual content formats with the team
  • Follow up on internal and external approvals of all content under his/her responsibility
  • Manage and follow up with suppliers for mixing, colorization and subtitling for the hearing impaired
  • Follow up on the creation, verify the technical conformity of the graphic elements and obtain the required approvals
  • Plan, produce and coordinate all the necessary material for the screens in the stores.
Experience and skills Required
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Excellent knowledge of the Adobe suite, specifically Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of Davinci Resolve an asset
  • Very good knowledge of the post-production process
  • Experience shooting (photo and video) indoors and outdoors (an asset)
  • Understanding of traditional, digital and social marketing channels
  • Bilingualism, French and English (oral and written)
  • Knowledge of retail (an asset)
  • Knowledge of the sport, fashion and sports environment (an asset)
  • Strong ability to communicate with peers and work as a team
  • Focus on collaboration and problem solving
  • Stay well-informed of new publishing technologies and implement industry best practices to maximize efficiency
  • Creative mind, demonstrable ability to edit video based on storytelling
  • Able to manage several projects of various sizes at the same time
  • Passion for sports and the outdoors
