Position Overview:
We're seeking a highly organized and proactive Video Content & Production Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and production of our digital Pilates video platform. This role combines production management with strategic content planning and strong operational and project management skills as well as global partnership collaboration. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of video content, from planning and filming through post-production and release, ensuring each piece reflects our brand's commitment to excellence, mindfulness, and inspiration. You'll work closely with internal groups, production teams and select global partners to expand and curate a high-quality, authentic Pilates video library that serves diverse audiences worldwide.
This is a hands-on role that requires a mix of production experience, attention to detail, highly organized and the ability to collaborate across creative, marketing, technical teams and external partners.
You'll play a key role in shaping a dynamic library of fitness and wellness content that inspires, educates, and connects a global audience. Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning
Develop and manage the ongoing plan for our Pilates digital content library, ensuring a balanced mix of programs, that reflects our customers needs and interests.
Align content planning with broader business and marketing strategies, identifying content needs and themes.
Collaborate with global production and content partners to source, develop, and deliver new video content.
Assess and collaborate with select external partners to enrich the video offering and maintain a consistent brand experience.
Pre-Production and Co-ordination
Plan and manage all aspects of video shoots, both in-house and with external production partners.
Coordinate shoot logistics including scheduling, location arrangements, props, wardrobe, equipment, and catering.
Manage talent selection, contracts, and communications.
Develop call sheets, filming schedules, and production timelines.
Oversee script development and ensure brand tone and instructional clarity.
On-Site Production
Lead on-site filming operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality production days, ensuring smooth execution, time management, and adherence to production plans.
Support creative direction and ensure quality standards in framing, sound, and lighting.
Troubleshoot issues and maintain a professional, positive production environment.
Post-Production
Manage the review, feedback, and approval process for all videos with internal stakeholders.
Oversee post-production deliverables including closed captioning, translations, and file formatting
Collaborate with the platform technical manager to ensure seamless upload, organization, and presentation of videos on the platform.
Track deliverables, deadlines, and revisions to ensure projects stay on time and within scope.
Marketing Video Production
Lead creation of diverse video assets for multiple channels, including social media, website, product launches, and instructional "how-to" videos, maintaining consistent quality and tone across formats.
Manage production resources and workflows, coordinating internal teams and external vendors to deliver videos on schedule, within budget, and optimized for each platform's technical and creative requirements.
Operational & Partnership Management
Develop and maintain relationships with production partners, vendors, and freelance talent.
Research and assess new partners for future content opportunities.
Manage budgets, contracts, and production documentation.
Oversee content organization and compliance (e.g., closed captioning).
Manage the use of subtitles and translations as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
4+ years of experience in video production, media project management, or content operations (fitness, wellness, or lifestyle industry a plus).
Proven ability to manage end-to-end production processes across multiple projects.
Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Experience working with video production crews, creative agencies, or external vendors.
Familiarity with digital video platforms (e.g., Uscreen, Vimeo, YouTube) and basic post-production workflows.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across creative, technical, and marketing teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic vision with operational precision.
A self-starter able to take initiative, unafraid to suggest and try new approaches.
Knowledge of the fitness industry and Pilates considered an asset.
