Job Description
I'm a General Contractor building an online training platform for first-time builders and homeowners. We need short, informative social-media videos (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) that explain topics like permitting, budgeting, and the single-family home construction process.
Responsibilities
Plan & Organize
: Collaborate on a simple content calendar and brainstorm reel topics.Film & Capture
: Record or guide me to self-record talking-head clips, screen shares, or on-site footage.Edit
: Cut, color-correct, add captions, and create engaging motion graphics for reels 15-60 seconds long.Post & Optimize
: Upload and schedule to Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts with engaging titles, tags, and descriptions.Quality Control
: Ensure each reel is clear, concise, and informative.Requirements
Portfolio of short-form content (reels/shorts). Skilled in tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve. Ability to make educational topics feel engaging. Good communication and time-management skills.
Nice to Have
Experience in educational or how-to niches. Understanding of current social-media trends and analytics.
Compensation
Per-reel pay:
$40-$90
Typical output:3-5 reels per week
to start. Option to discuss separate rates if we later add longer course modules. If traction gained pay will raise.Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1-24 months
Pay: From $1,500.00 per month
Work Location: In person
