Principales responsabilites :
Relevant du President, le Vice-president, Operations dirigera l'ensemble des operations strategiques (multi-sites). Il aura comme objectif de mobiliser les employes, sous sa responsabilite, ainsi que d'implanter une culture d'excellence operationnelle (amelioration continue). Il sera en charge de developper et d'implanter un plan strategique afin d'atteindre les objectifs corporatifs et les standards de qualite. Il devra egalement optimiser la gestion des couts et maximiser la relation et la satisfaction des clients. Il fera partie du comite executif afin d'assurer la saine croissance de l'organisation.

COMPETENCES & EXIGENCES DU POSTE:
Diplome universitaire en genie mecanique ou industriel ou en gestion des operations
Posseder un minimum de 15 annees d'experience en gestion dans un environnement manufacturier et ou de distribution
Experience en gestion comportant des responsabilites multi-sites (un atout);
Une bonne connaissance des principes d'amelioration continue ou de lean manufacturing;
Leadership de changement tout en conservant l'ensemble des employes engages et mobilises;
Avoir demontre, au cours de sa carriere, la capacite a atteindre les objectifs fixes
Demontrer une flexibilite a s'adapter aux differentes particularites des cultures tant a l'interne (organisation) qu'a l'externe (fournisseurs et clients);
Compte tenu de la culture organisationnel, le candidat devra faire preuve d'un niveau superieur d'empathie;
Avoir demontre sa capacite d'influence tout en augmentant la mobilisation de ses equipes;
Favorise la collaboration et l'ouverture d'esprit;
Disponibilite a voyager (30 %);
Bilinguisme (francais et anglais).
QUE FERAS-TU ?
Developper et implanter un plan strategique afin d'uniformiser et de standardiser l'ensemble des operations;
Optimiser la gestion budgetaire reliee aux activites du departement afin d'atteindre les objectifs corporatifs et ce, sans negliger les standards de qualite ainsi que le niveau de satisfaction des clients;
Agir a titre de leader en implantant une culture d'amelioration continue et amener, de maniere positive, la gestion du changement;
Coordonner le developpement et le deploiement du plan d'amelioration continue en ayant comme principal objectif de devenir un centre d'excellence;
Fournir des conseils d'expert pour les initiatives d'amelioration / projets dans les differentes fonctions et sites en dirigeant et facilitant les projets d'amelioration continue a travers l'organisation;
Identifier les meilleures pratiques en amelioration continue a travers l'organisation et veiller a la mise en oeuvre de celles-ci;
Uniformisation des procedures standard d'operation (PSO) et des indicateurs cles de performance (KPI's).
Assurer la gestion de l'ensemble des activites des usines de production et des centres de distribution. En collaboration avec son equipe, le titulaire du poste est responsable de la main-d'oeuvre, de la productivite, de la gestion des couts, de l'amelioration continue des procedes, de la sante et securite ainsi que de la formation de la main-d'oeuvre;
Assurer l'atteinte des objectifs corporatifs relies a son departement. Optimiser l'efficacite, la productivite et le rendement des equipements afin d'atteindre les objectifs fixes;
Developper un partenariat d'affaires axe sur la proximite avec les clients et les differents intervenants;
Veiller a l'implantation et au respect des regles de sante et securite;
Communiquer, implanter et appliquer les politiques et procedures de l'entreprise;
Motiver le personnel et etre une source d'influence positive par l'exemple;
Favoriser l'autonomie de la main-d'oeuvre en responsabilisant les employes.

Primary Responsibilities :
Reporting to the President, the Vice President, Operations will lead all strategic operations (multi-site). He/she will be responsible for mobilizing the employees under his/her responsibility, as well as implementing a culture of operational excellence (continuous improvement). He/she will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan to achieve corporate objectives and quality standards. He/she will also optimize cost management and maximize customer relations and satisfaction. He/she will be part of the executive committee to ensure the healthy growth of the organization.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Develop and implement a strategic plan to standardize all operations;
Optimize the budget management of the department's activities in order to achieve corporate objectives, without neglecting quality standards and customer satisfaction;
Act as a leader by implementing a culture of continuous improvement and bring change management in a positive manner;
Coordinate the development and deployment of the continuous improvement plan with the primary objective of becoming a center of excellence;
Provide expert guidance for improvement initiatives/projects across functions and sites by leading and facilitating continuous improvement projects throughout the organization;
Identify best practices in continuous improvement across the organization and ensure their implementation;
Standardize standard operating procedures (SOPs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Ensure the management of all activities of the production plants, distribution centers and customer service. In collaboration with his team, the incumbent is responsible for the workforce, productivity, cost management, continuous process improvement, health and safety and workforce training;
Ensure the achievement of corporate objectives related to his department. Optimize the efficiency, productivity and performance of the equipment in order to achieve the set objectives;
Develop a business partnership based on proximity with customers and various stakeholders;
Ensure the implementation and respect of health and safety rules;
Communicate, implement and apply the company's policies and procedures;
Motivate the personnel and be a source of positive influence by example;
Encourage the autonomy of the workforce by empowering employees.
SKILLS & JOB REQUIREMENTS:
University degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or operations management
Minimum of 15 years management experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
Management experience with multi-site responsibilities (an asset);
Good knowledge of continuous improvement or lean manufacturing principles;
Change leadership while keeping all employees engaged and mobilized;
Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives throughout his or her career
Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to different cultures both internally (organization) and externally (suppliers and customers);
Given the organizational culture, the candidate must demonstrate a high level of empathy;
Demonstrate the ability to influence while increasing the mobilization of his teams;
Favors collaboration and open-mindedness;
Willingness to travel (30%);
Bilingualism (French and English).
