Job Description

SUMMARY
The Vice-President is responsible for business development, maintaining client relations, and providing strategic counselling. This role requires the ability analyze trends, interpret data, and integrate insights into actionable business strategies to support client's objectives. To be successful in this role, you must possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent client management skills, and a thorough understanding of the market research industry, with a keen eye for identifying business opportunities and challenges.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, maintain, and expand the scope of existing client accounts and mandates by identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities.
  • Seek out opportunities to help raise Leger product awareness, be a Leger Brand ambassador and to grow existing clients and develop new client opportunities by attending industry events/conferences, responding to RFPs, supervising, and presenting service proposals to elicit opportunities for discussion.
  • Managing strategic, large-scale, or complex projects, including proposal writing, designing research solutions, analyzing research results, delivering insights and strategic recommendations, and thought leadership to clients.
  • Team management: Provide direction and coaching to the team.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • University (bachelor's or master's degree) preferably in a business-related subject or MBA
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the market research or strategic consulting industry as a consultant or market/ strategic research professional
  • Minimum 15 years of experience managing a results-driven team in the Lottery industry.
  • Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience with research techniques, methodologies, and advanced analytic solutions
SKILLS
  • Strong client management skill: Adept at building and nurturing client relationships, understanding client needs and turning them into business opportunities.
  • Strong networking capabilities: Create and facilitate forums to develop new alliance identifying areas to build strategic relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills: Convey complex data and insights in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Strong financial acumen: To cost, plan, allocate, and track resources for research projects cost-effectively and to support the business unit's financial objectives.
  • An innovative mindset: To drive the development of custom research methodologies and stay at the forefront of industry trends.
