The Work

As Vice President of the Value Office, you will lead a transformative agenda to evolve the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function into a strategic powerhouse within the organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will spearhead the implementation of advanced analytics tools, drive enterprise-wide efficiency, and lead strategic capital allocation initiatives. You will serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, connecting financial insights to business strategy and enabling data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.

Financial Planning & Analysis Leadership

Lead the modernization of FP&A through the deployment of a performance management platform and further integration of AI-powered forecasting and scenario planning tools. Champion the "Business CFO" model, embedding FP&A leaders as strategic copilots in business units, to act as trusted advisors in decision-making and crisis response. Deliver timely, insightful, and actionable financial analysis to senior executives, enabling proactive business decisions.
###

Enterprise Efficiency

Own and manage the enterprise-wide spend framework, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and financial targets. Partner with business units to evaluate project-level expenses, challenge assumptions, and ensure financial discipline across initiatives. Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and implement cost optimization opportunities, balancing efficiency with growth enablement. Develop and maintain robust tracking mechanisms for enterprise spending, enabling transparency, accountability, and performance measurement. Facilitate strategic discussions around execution feasibility, timing, and alignment with long-term organizational goals. Act as a thought partner to the CFO and executive team, anticipating future needs and shaping the enterprise's financial strategy. Lead the business settlements and reporting team, turning data into insights on how the organization spends money and identifying potential efficiency opportunities in line with EQB culture and values.
###

Strategic Capital Allocation

Lead the evaluation and prioritization of major investments, campaigns, transformation projects, and acquisition opportunities. Partner with Procurement to redefine Delegation of Authority (DOA) policies, balancing agility with governance. Be a catalyst for prioritizing enterprise projects and campaigns, ensuring resources are allocated to initiatives with the highest strategic and financial impact. Oversee portfolio reporting of all significant capital initiatives, ensuring alignment with ROE targets and long-term strategy. Influence senior leaders by providing clear, data-driven insights into spend trends, trade-offs, and ROI across projects. Support the CFO in assessing investment proposals requiring executive signoff, providing rigorous financial and strategic analysis.
