About the role
The Vice President, Product - SME leads the strategy, development, launch, and continuous evolution of Element's SME product platform. Accountable for delivering a scalable and profitable product offering aligned to client needs, the VP orchestrates cross-functional teams to finalize product structure, pricing, operating model and go-to-market, while driving innovation and operational excellence to achieve measurable business outcomes (growth, profitability, client satisfaction).
What you'll do
SME Product Platform Strategy & DeliveryOwn the product platform strategy and execution for SME
Define SME-specific strategies with Commercial, Operations, Marketing, Pricing
and Risk to ensure market fit and scalable delivery
Oversee finalization of product structure, pricing, risk, operating model, sales
strategy, technology and marketing for launch readiness
Lead MVP rollout and expansion across additional products, functionalities and
geographies (including aspects of large corporate and international markets).
Dealership Distribution Strategy & InsightsDevelop a Dealership distribution strategy and associated platform constructs.
Partner with Marketing on market intelligence to identify modifications to existing
products and net-new offerings (e.g., MaaS and autonomous vehicles).
P&L Product Ownership & ManagementOwn P&L model and KPI framework; establish cross?functional metrics and
cadence to measure outcomes, adjust plans and ensure accountability.
Leverage P&L insights and partner input to govern a prioritized roadmap and
implement processes that drive continuous improvement. Consistently meet or exceed KPIs related to lead generation, conversion, and pipeline contribution.
Team Leadership and ManagementFoster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and
growth.
Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to
ensure employee engagement and retention.
Ensure resource allocation and workload distribution for effective service delivery.
Consistently embodies Element's Purpose and Values, accountable for driving and
delivering positive employee engagement and outcomes
Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance or related field required; MBA preferred.
10+ years in senior product leadership with demonstrated P&L ownership and cross?functional delivery; fleet/leasing/financial services experience preferred.
Proven success bringing complex, technology?enabled products to market and scaling across regions/segments.
Deep commercial acumen across pricing, credit risk, operating models, and go?to?market strategy.
Expertise in product roadmap governance, KPI design, and data?driven decision?making.
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills; ability to influence without direct authority. Proficiency in various MS Office software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Location: Mississauga. Our Mississauga office will move to 1 Adelaide in Toronto in September 2026
The base salary range for this position is $230,000-$260,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
