Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to lead our operational strategies and drive efficiency across our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in process improvement, business development, sales, marketing, residential construction and project management. This leadership role requires exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to inspire and guide teams towards achieving operational excellence.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives. Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes. Lead cross-functional teams in identifying areas for process improvement and implementing best practices. Foster a culture of continuous improvement through training, mentorship, and support for team members. Manage key business development initiatives to drive growth and enhance market position. Collaborate with other executives, including the Owner, the CFO and the VP of Construction, to develop strategic plans that promote organizational success. Assist the PA to negotiate contracts with vendors and sub-contractor partners to secure favorable terms for the company. Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management on operational effectiveness.

Qualifications



Proven experience in an operations leadership role, preferably at the executive level. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful sales and contract management. Demonstrated expertise in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). Exceptional leadership abilities with experience managing diverse teams. Solid understanding of business development principles and project management practices in the residential construction industry. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is required; an MBA is preferred. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
