The Opportunity
Leavitt Industrial Group is seeking a
Vice President of Information Technology
to lead our enterprise-wide technology strategy and execution. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will drive innovation, ensure cybersecurity resilience, and advance our data and digital capabilities to position the business for sustainable growth. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role where you will refine our technology roadmap, enhance efficiency of spend, and deliver scalable enterprise solutions that support Leavitt Industrial Group's long-term strategy.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the VP of Information Technology, your key responsibilities will include:
Define and execute an enterprise technology vision aligned with business objectives, balancing innovation with operational excellence
Identify and implement technology solutions that enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer experience, ensuring a strong ROI across IT investments
Lead the organization's cybersecurity strategy to safeguard critical data, infrastructure, and systems against threats, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Develop and maintain plans for disaster recovery and business continuity to mitigate IT-related disruptions; conduct regular testing of these plans to ensure readiness
Develop and execute a robust enterprise data and analytics strategy to enable informed decision-making and business intelligence
Lead and manage the IT department, including IT support, software/product development, infrastructure, digital workplace, productivity tools, enterprise applications and CRM/ERP program management teams
Provide guidance and coaching to IT teams, balancing strategic leadership with operational execution
Collaborate with executive leadership and business unit leaders to co-create solutions and embed technology as a core enabler of efficiency, scalability, and growth
Communicate IT initiatives and projects effectively to stakeholders and gain an understanding of the alignment of technology with ongoing business needs
Oversee the design, scalability, and resilience of IT infrastructure, ERP/CRM platforms, digital workplace solutions, and enterprise applications
Manage the IT budget, including cost analysis, resource allocation, and procurement of technology resources; optimize spend efficiency and vendor partnerships to maximize value creation
Manage the development, deployment, and maintenance of software applications
Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
Proven senior IT leadership experience (5+ years, including enterprise-level accountability) with a track record of scaling technology in complex, multi-site or high-growth environments
Demonstrated ability to act as a business leader first, partnering with executives and business unit leaders to translate organizational needs into co-designed technology solutions that drive measurable business outcomes
Strong capability in communicating complex technology strategies and roadmaps into simple, business-focused terms that support organizational objectives and future growth
Deep expertise in IT governance, cybersecurity, data strategy, software development, and infrastructure modernization
Strong financial acumen with experience optimizing budgets, efficiency of spend, and ROI on technology investments
Skilled in building and developing high-performing IT teams while remaining hands-on and pragmatic
Executive presence with refined communication, influencing, and relationship management skills
Post-secondary education in computer science, information technology, or a related field; advanced degrees or executive training considered an asset

The compensation range for this role is: $200,000 to $240,000 annual base salary depending on experience, plus an annual performance bonus.
