Leading a growing global team of 30+ finance professionals, the Vice President of Finance will continue to scale, hone, and refine our Finance function. The focus for this position will be delivering success through multi-entity financial management and accounting. Acting as the strategic business partner to our Executive team the VP of Finance will provide strategic financial input on short-term and long-term decision-making regarding finance and risk management. This position will play a key role in the company\'s growth, while maintaining a flexible hands-on approach to the day-to-day management of all financial and accounting operations.


What you will be doing

  • Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance and Accounting functions of the company, ensuring timely and accurate monthly and annual financial reporting.
  • Evaluate the financial performance of the company through oversight of budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring operational excellence and cost discipline.
  • Maintain oversight of tax and treasury planning activities, proactively seeking opportunities for effective tax structuring and efficient cash management.
  • Provide insight and recommendations on the company\'s growth plan and act as a key support resource across all departments by assisting them in achieving their annual OKRs and budgets.
  • Working with Corporate Development, identify and execute M&A opportunities to expand capabilities across KYC, AML, payments, and risk management verticals.
  • Support senior leadership by providing analytical insight and industry data to support business decisions and strategic decision-making, including preparation for a potential IPO, as required.
  • Develop and maintain relations with independent auditors, banks, customers, vendors and other key partners

About you

  • 5+ years in an executive-level finance capacity, leading a global team through an accelerated growth phase. Ideally coming from a complex publicly traded B2B software environment with over $150m in revenue.
  • Capital markets experience with significant leadership in M&A; successfully evaluating, executing, and integrating acquisitions. Ideally brings IPO experience.
  • Experience implementing and managing financial, operational and analytic IT systems and controls; ability to implement internal controls with an eye toward cost control and keeping costs in line with expectations.
  • Process and execution-oriented; ability to build and implement best-in-class processes and understand key operational business drivers to support company growth objectives.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to view the business from a broader perspective, integrating finance and business issues to develop insight and solutions that add value to a senior management team beyond finance.
  • Proven ability to dive into the business and roll up sleeves; comfortable operating in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment.
