Position:
We are looking for a Vice President of Finance to join our leadership team. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that goes far beyond traditional corporate finance. You will lead both day-to-day finance operations and strategic financial planning while supporting expansion, system upgrades, acquisitions, and multi-location growth across Western Canada. This role requires someone who is deeply operational, highly adaptable, and ready to build a modern finance function from the ground up. You will work closely with senior leadership and travel to various branches as needed. This is not a desk-only VP role--this is active, in-the-field leadership.
This role is best suited for a highly driven, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is eager to shape a modern finance department from the ground up. It is ideal for professionals who enjoy being close to operations, leading system upgrades and organizational expansion, and contributing ideas that translate into real impact--both for the business and their own performance-based compensation. This position is not intended for individuals seeking a traditional or comfortable VP title, those who prefer rigid structure or routine, or anyone who avoids direct communication or engages in workplace politics.
