Provide executive leadership and strategic oversight for the IT Project Management Office (PMO), including Account Management, Project Portfolio Management, and Financial Governance.
Drive enterprise-wide IT business engagement & demand management by facilitating alignment meetings with executive sponsors to ensure project prioritization, coordination, and investment optimization aligned to business goals.
Lead the development, execution and continuous improvement of IT strategic planning processes, integrating financial, operational, and technological considerations.
Establish and maintain standardized project delivery frameworks, including workload analysis, capacity planning, and performance measurement to ensure project execution excellence.
Oversee portfolio and program-level risk identification and mitigation planning; escalate high-impact risks and deviations to executive stakeholders in a timely manner.
Champion the standardization and optimization of IT services and delivery models, supporting the evolution to a centralized, scalable IT operating framework.
Drive IT financial management lifecycle, including:
Development of the annual IT budget (Capex and Opex).
Forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance tracking.
Partnering with Finance to ensure transparency, compliance, and ROI analysis for major initiatives and investments.
Driving cost optimization initiatives across the IT portfolio.
Monitor portfolio health and value realization, ensuring delivery of business outcomes and accountability for return on IT investments.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Serve as a strategic advisor to the CIO and senior business leadership on technology investments, capability roadmaps, and governance best practices.
Education & Certifications
:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, or related or equivalent experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified.
Qualifications
:
Minimum of 8 to 10 years of leadership within IT including at least 5-7 years of experience leading delivery of complex, multi-million-dollar projects.
High level of understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework and IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices.
Excellent communication skills, a strong team player, and the ability to work cross functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Able to build strong relationships and remain calm and constructive when conflicts arise
Proven experience using Agile Project Management methodologies.
Extensive experience with business case development.
A devoted, passionate leader with an ability to build strong teams, support growth and build real value.
Flexible, able to adjust and change direction as the business environment and technology universe evolves and changes.
Action oriented and able to work proactively with little or no direct management.
