ADP is hiring a VP, HRO Implementation - ADP Canada!

In this role as Vice President, you will be responsible for managing professional, technical, and administrative staff of associates who execute ADP\'s HRO Accounts Implementation services. You will ensure that the organization implements all sold business units within forecasted time frames and within project budget.

You will also provide support and consults with the Sales organization during the presale process to determine pricing and product implementation strategy. In addition, you will contribute to division initiatives through task force and project assignments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the Implementation Organization ensuring that all sold business units and transfer business is implemented within forecasted time frames and within the scope of the project budget. Ensures that billable hours are accurately forecasted and that division productivity objectives are met, and revenues are realized. Responsible for the success of the Department\'s Implementation services and ultimate client satisfaction as measured through implementation survey scores as a Referenceable client base.
  • Plans for department expenses, resources and capital requirements and manages the department to achieve forecasted and planned financial results. Works with Finance to maintain accurate start and implementation fee backlogs and forecast reports. Works closely with the Resource Manager to evaluate the impact on resource assignments and staffing.
  • Works with Sales to impact the \xe2\x80\x9cbuy\xe2\x80\x9d decision. Presents Implementation strategy and methodology at high level sales calls. Responsible for ensuring that accurate and timely estimates are provided to the sales associates and that the Implementation methodology is properly communicated to the client. Assists in the resolution of escalated sales/client issues.
  • Works closely with Sales Management and Finance to develop pricing proposals that meet the goals of ADP Canada and the client.
  • Works closely with the VP Client Services, and the Operations VP to insure a smooth hand-off of accounts from implementation to service and production. Participates in strategic planning for the organization.
  • Participates in Divisional initiatives to improve process and, communicate issues. Acts as liaison between various stakeholders for issues that impact sales, the implementation process and tools. Routinely reports on status of starts, Implementation fees, IS productivity, expense, and IS training and development.
  • Responsible for the client education training program. Ensures that high quality training is provided timely for all products and that new product training is delivered within division timeframes and standards. Ensures that proper billing policies are followed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration or other related field
  • Resultant knowledge and experience from at least 10 years of management experience, including 3-5 years supervising a large staff (25+) professionals.
  • A background in consulting and professional services would be preferred however any of the following would be considered: systems implementation management, Client Service management, Human Resources, Payroll or Financial systems. Accreditation from appropriate organizations would be a plus.
  • Demonstrated success at leadership of a large professional staff. Demonstrated success at recruiting, hiring and retaining a highly marketable and competitive staff. Proven ability to mentor, coach, and counsel associates. Demonstrated success in developing bench strength and identifying successors.
  • Experience with developing and managing to a department expense budget.
  • Experience in a highly technical systems environment.
  • Experience in working with a highly motivated and dynamic sales organization.
  • Experience in managing relationships/partnerships with clients and third-party suppliers.
  • Experience in developing and/or re-engineering process for delivery of client services and/or implementation services.
NON- ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Performs special projects as assigned.
SKILL / COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Accountability: Responsible for achieving an annual start plan on re-occurring revenue and the annual billing of one-time IS fees.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have and can demonstrate the following competencies and skills:
  • Excellent drafting and negotiations skills with good business and legal judgment, strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to positively influence actions of multiple stakeholders, as well as balance the needs of ADP and its clients.
  • Strong time management skills, and ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively based on knowledge of the business.
  • Flexible and have the ability to adapt to the needs of a growing business.
  • Detail oriented with strong attention to accuracy and problem solving.
  • Strong work ethic focused on providing excellent customer service.
  • Proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in written and spoken French is a definite asset.
