Position Overview





The

Vice President, Finance

will lead the finance function within our Shared Services team, supporting a group of companies

including entities in Canada, the US, Hong Kong, and China.

This senior leadership role will drive our financial strategy, ensuring governance and compliance, and fostering sustainable growth across our global operations.



In addition to leading finance, this role will also have oversight

of IT operations, to ensure financial and technology strategies are aligned to business objectives.



With an active pipeline of acquisitions, the Vice President, Finance will play a critical role in due diligence, integration, and scaling our finance and IT capabilities to support long-term growth.




Key Responsibilities





Strategic Leadership & Growth




Partner with the COO and executive team to shape financial strategy and long-term planning. Provide financial insights to drive performance and inform strategic decisions. Lead the financial aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, integration, and post-acquisition alignment. Position the organization for continued expansion through scalable financial and IT infrastructure.

Financial Operations & Reporting




Oversee consolidated financial statements across global entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. Develop and manage KPIs, dashboards, and forecasting models to support data-driven decisions. Manage cash flow, treasury, and capital allocation to optimize performance. Lead budgeting and forecasting processes.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management




Ensure compliance with Canadian, US, and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and reporting requirements. Build strong relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and regulators. Oversee internal controls and risk frameworks to safeguard assets.

Systems, Processes & IT Oversight




Lead continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and policies. Oversee ERP optimization and integration to improve reporting, forecasting, and business intelligence. Provide leadership for IT operations, ensuring technology adoption enhances financial visibility, scalability, and efficiency.

Team Leadership




Lead and develop a global finance team across multiple entities. Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.



Qualifications & Experience




CPA designation (required). 10+ years of progressive finance leadership, with 5+ years in a senior executive role. Proven experience overseeing finance in multi-entity, international organizations. Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and ERP systems (Epicor or similar preferred). Experience in US financial operations (asset). Track record of leading M&A, including due diligence and integration (asset). Strong technical accounting skills combined with business acumen. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
