Role Overview:



The Vice President, Business Development will lead the national growth strategy for Canderel's third-party services division. This senior role is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth across Canada for third-party services. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the division's business development strategy.



Key Responsibilities:



Strategic Leadership & Growth

Develop and execute a comprehensive national business development strategy in collaboration with the CEO. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and actively convert opportunities into long-term partnerships. Lead the launch of Third-Party division's offerings through national campaigns, roadshows, and targeted outreach. Oversee the creation of sales enablement tools in partnership with marketing and social media teams. Attend industry forums, conferences, and networking events to expand Canderel's market presence. Participate in the preparation and submission of RFPs, working closely with subject matter experts.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, prospects, and clients across Canada. Represent Canderel in high-level negotiations and strategic discussions. Ensure exceptional client experience through proactive engagement and tailored solutions.

Operational Excellence

Overhaul and optimize the CRM system to ensure data accuracy, usability, and strategic insights. Establish performance metrics and reporting frameworks to track pipeline progress and market activity. Support the development of investor presentations, board materials, and executive reporting.

Governance & Compliance

Uphold high standards of corporate governance, compliance, and ethical business practices. Ensure alignment with organizational policies and strategic objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management. Proven success in a process-driven sales environment; formal sales training (e.g., Xerox-style methodology) preferred. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence. Experience in professional services or B2B environments; real estate industry exposure is an asset. Bilingualism (English/French) is a plus. Expertise in CRM systems and pipeline development. Located in Toronto or Montreal, with flexibility for travel across Canada.
