The
Vibration Specialist
plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of machinery by monitoring, analyzing, and troubleshooting vibration issues.
Through the development and improvement of the site's vibration tracking systems and processes, the Specialist will identify, track, and properly document performance of the equipment.
Conduct on-site vibration analysis on machinery and equipment.
Analyze and interpret vibration data to identify problematic vibrations.
Work with maintenance teams to implement corrective actions and solutions.
Provide technical assistance and advice on vibration issues to clients and colleagues.
Prepare and present detailed reports on findings and recommendations.
Assist in generating predictive maintenance programs and procedures.
Maintain and calibrate vibration analysis equipment and tools.
Adhere to safety standards, regulations, and procedures
Education:
Mechanical Technician or Technologist preferred
Experience Requirements:
5 years of demonstrated industrial maintenance competence
Experience in providing vibration and reliability technical support
Proficiency in using advanced diagnostic tools, understanding mechanical systems, and vibration analysis methodologies.
Ability to lead and execute work without supervision
Ability to read and interpret documents i.e., P&ID, blueprints, manuals, etc.
Ability to achieve Vibration Certification Level 1
Strong problem-solving skills
