Job Summary


The Vibration Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting vibration data collected from rotating and reciprocating equipment used in oil and gas operations. This role is critical to identifying early signs of mechanical failure, ensuring equipment reliability, reducing unplanned downtime, and improving safety in high-risk oil field environments.

Responsibilities



Take vibration data on natural gas compressors, engines, turbines, electric motors, pumps etc. Prepare comprehensive reports to communicate findings and recommendations to customers. Maintain documentation of design changes, analysis results, and project progress.

Requirements



Experience in vibration analysis is preferred Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or journeyman millwright/mechanic with natural gas compressor/electric motor experience required. Minimum 5 years oil field experience. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems and components. Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to analyzing issues. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members and customers. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Has to have class 5 drivers licence and be willing to drive to remote sights regularly. All safety tickets required for oil field work.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55.00-$70.00 per hour

Schedule:

Day shift Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
