Shifts Required

• Day: 7:00am \xe2\x80\x93 3:30pm
• Night: 2:00pm \xe2\x80\x93 10:30 pm

Please note: Weekends and Holidays are required.
Position Overview
The machine operator will perform duties in a wet and cold environment. The machine operator will work closely with the team leaders and production management. The machine operator will be expected to report quality, machine issues, & adhere to cut-off times. Equipment training will be provided to the successful applicant.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Vertical form fill setup and operation.
• Food processing of salads.
• Packing of finished goods into boxes.
• Coordinating order completion.
• Line change over.
• Managing line traceability forms.
• Cleaning of equipment between product runs .
• Use of pallet jacks to remove finished goods from the line.
• Quality inspections of the processed salads.
• May operate forklift (approximately 10% of work hours, training provided).

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Accountable and dependable.
• Self motivated and have the desire to continuously improve.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a wet and cold environment.
• Open to work in a changing work environment and able to multi-task.
• May require some flexibility in working some day shift hours.
• Experience of food manufacturing procedures is an asset.
