Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our animal care team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing high-quality medical care to our animal patients and support the overall functioning of the veterinary practice. Responsibilities: - Assist veterinarians in routine examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures - Perform laboratory tests such as blood work and urinalysis - Administer medications under the direction of a veterinarian - Take and develop X-rays - Prepare animals and equipment for surgery - Maintain accurate medical records - Educate pet owners on animal care and treatment plans Qualifications: - Certification or Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology - Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital - Proficiency in handling and restraining animals - Knowledge of common veterinary medications and procedures - Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment Nice-to-Have Skills: - Experience with laboratory procedures and equipment Joining our team as a Veterinary Technician offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to the well-being of animals.
