Toronto Veterinary Clinic Seeking Veterinary Technician

Weston Veterinary Clinic is a privately-owned Veterinary clinic nestled in West Toronto. Roles and Responsibilities

- Assist DVMs in providing medical care to animals
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures, such as Blood work and Urinalysis
- Ability to problem solve and effectively work with the entire client care team
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
- Take and develop X-rays
- Surgical preparation of animals and provide post-operative/ recovery Care
- Sterilize and maintain Veterinary equipment and instruments
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration as directed by the DVM

Skills Required:

- Proficient in laboratory procedures including blood work and urinalysis
- Strong knowledge and understanding of VetMed terminology and procedures
- Ability to administer medications and treatments accurately
- Attention to detail with experience in surgical preparation and assisting
- Skilled with X-ray equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Experience:

Veterinary Technician: 1 year+ (Preferred) Experienced with Ezyvet Software is an asset
Work Location: In person

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
