Education: College/CEGEP Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Veterinary/animal health technology/technician and veterinary assistant
Tasks
---------Collect samples and perform other laboratory tests Handle, restrain and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery Produce diagnostic radiographs Assist veterinarian before, during and after surgery Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under direction of veterinarian Counsel clients on animal health care Provide wound and bandage care
