Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to veterinarians in the care of animals, ensuring their health and well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with medical procedures, performing laboratory tests, and maintaining a clean and organized environment within the clinic. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about animal care and possess strong technical skills.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. Perform laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and fecal examinations. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian. Monitor animal patients pre- and post-surgery to ensure their comfort and recovery. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilization of instruments and equipment. Handle animals safely and compassionately during examinations and treatments.

Skills

Proficiency in laboratory techniques related to veterinary medicine. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail in both clinical tasks and record keeping.
