Veterinary Technician AssistantLocation: Calgary, AlbertaCalgary West Animal Hospital is welcoming a full-time Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our care team. We are a well-established two-doctor small animal practice in the vibrant up-and-coming neighborhood of Rosscarrock Southwest. Our team is committed to creating a positive work environment where collaboration, mentorship and professional growth are always encouraged.This is an exceptional opportunity for an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to join us in an important support role for the entire hospital.Assist the veterinary staff with various tasks and treatmentsCreate a warm and welcoming environment for our pet parentsCreate a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and adapt to changing situationsTake initiative and work independentlyGeneral housekeeping duties; cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas, and common areasWillingness to learn more regarding; veterinary services, updated medical office procedures Compassion and nurturing attitudeVeterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Office Assistant (VOA) program certificate is an assetSchedule: Option for a 4-day work week.
