We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners, providing exceptional customer service while managing the administrative tasks that keep our veterinary practice running smoothly. Your passion for animals and strong communication skills will help create a welcoming environment for both clients and their furry companions.
Duties
Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival.
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services offered.
Process patient records and maintain accurate documentation of client interactions.
Handle billing and payment processing with attention to detail.
Assist veterinarians with laboratory tasks as needed, utilizing any laboratory experience you may have.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room.
Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure a seamless flow of communication regarding patient care.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in veterinary technology or related field is a plus.
Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Laboratory experience is highly desirable to assist with basic lab tasks.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners, demonstrating empathy in all interactions.

Pay: $17.88-$20.00 per hour
