Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. Your ability to multitask and communicate effectively will ensure a smooth experience for both clients and their pets.

Responsibilities

Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date in the system. Process payments and handle billing inquiries with professionalism. Assist veterinary staff with laboratory tasks as needed, including sample collection and preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room. Provide information to clients about pet health care products and services offered by the clinic.

Requirements

Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on empathy and understanding. Proficiency in using office equipment such as computers, phones, and fax machines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with laboratory procedures is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. A passion for animal care and welfare is crucial for success in this role.

Pay: $18.00-$22.53 per hour
