Job Summary

This hybrid role supports both front desk operations and clinical care. We are looking for someone able to cross train and work as a veterinary assistant, as well as cover for some shifts in reception as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to work with the team, as well as independently. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing excellent care.

Key Responsibilities

Receptionist Duties:

Greet clients and patients warmly upon arrival Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage reminders Check-in and check-out clients Process payments and maintain accurate records Handle client inquiries with professionalism and empathy Unpack daily orders

Veterinary Assistant Duties:

Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures Restrain animals safely and compassionately Keep clinic clean and organized throughout the day. Clean, sterilize and wrap surgical tools and supplies Restocking supplies in treatment and exam rooms
