Animal Rehabilitation Assistant - 18-Month Term (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Sunday-Wednesday | 9:30am-5:30pm (occasional evenings as needed)

Start Date: Tuesday, February 17th

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated individual who is truly passionate about animal care and dedicated to improving the quality of life for pets and their families. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Managing emails and phone calls Patient restraint Cleaning and restocking rooms Processing payments Managing the appointment schedule Laundry Taking photos and videos of patients for owners and social media Managing social media accounts Cleaning and maintaining the Underwater Treadmill Answering client inquiries

Must Have:

Minimum

2 years of experience

in a veterinary, animal care, or similar setting Knowledge of animal behavior Experience with safe animal restraint Basic computer skills Ability to lift 50 lbs Strong client communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
