Part-Time Veterinary Assistant

Seeking Long-Term Team Member

We are a small animal clinic seeking a part-time veterinary assistant to join our team. Weekday and weekend availability is required. We are especially interested in individuals who are looking for a long-term position and want to grow with our clinic.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is:

A quick learner with a strong work ethic

Comfortable working with both animals and people

Energetic, punctual, and dependable

Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

This position involves responsibilities at both the front desk and in patient care, offering a well-rounded and hands-on experience -- ideal for anyone considering a future in veterinary medicine or animal care.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience working with animals (preferred, but not required)

Prior experience as a veterinary assistant is a plus

Key responsibilities include:

Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting clients

Processing billing and selling over the counter products and pet food

Handling and restraining animals during exams and procedures

Assisting the veterinarian and preparing medications

General hospital and office cleaning duties
