Overview
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented individual who excels in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in supporting the veterinary team. Experience in a veterinary or medical setting is preferred, and laboratory experience is a valuable asset.
Responsibilities
Safely restrain and handle animals for exams and treatments
Assist veterinarians and technicians during medical, diagnostic, and treatment procedures
Support client check-in and check-out
Prepare and clean exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites
Clean and maintain instruments, equipment, and workspaces
Assist with lab testing and sample collection
Monitor hospitalized patients and provide basic nursing care
Communicate with clients regarding care instructions and follow-ups
Maintain inventory, restock supplies, and support team with administrative duties
Requirements
Prior veterinary or animal-care experience preferred
Professional appearance and polished presentation
Must be able to safely lift and handle animals and equipment, occasionally up to 25-30 kg or more
Position requires standing for extended periods, bending, and moving patients or equipment
Must be able to assist with full-body and dental radiographs
Candidates should not have physical or health conditions that would prevent safe performance of these duties
Strong multitasking, organizational, and time-management skills; able to work independently or in a team
