is looking for an experienced

Veterinary Assistant

to join our neurology team! We have a full-time opportunity with our neurology department, which will include a range of responsibilities directly contributing to the efficient and effective daily operation of the department. The ideal candidate will have veterinary and/or administrative experience. A veterinary assistant certificate would be an asset.


Your primary responsibility will be to assist our Neurologist and RVT with various tasks and treatments, including patient handling, surgery prep, client communication and scheduling consultations and procedures.

Schedule:

40 hours per week, with 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week.

Key responsibilities:

Assist veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and pet parents Create a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of work area, pet holding areas and common areas Willingness to learn more regarding veterinary services, updated medical office procedures and assisting the Veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments
