Veterinary Assistant

Notre Dame Animal Hospital is an independently owned general practice in Sudbury. We offer a full range of services including wellness exams, vaccinations, dentistry, and soft tissue surgeries.
We aim to make every visit a positive, low-stress experience for pets and their people--and we support each other every step of the way.
What You'll Do:
Assist the veterinarian and technician during exams and procedures
Safely and confidently handle and restrain dogs and cats
Keep exam rooms clean, organized, and well-stocked
Help with front desk tasks like answering phones and booking appointments
Maintain accurate patient records and support daily clinic operations
What We're Looking For:
Experience in animal care at a veterinary clinic
Friendly, reliable, and clear communicator
Able to multitask and stay calm in a busy environment
Comfortable working directly with animals of all sizes and temperaments
A true team player who's always willing to lend a hand
Schedule:
Monday to Friday:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch from 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM)
Saturdays:
9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (required every other weekend*)
