We are seeking a Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to animal health and welfare, with the ability to provide high-quality medical care to cats and dogs. This role requires excellent diagnostic skills, a thorough understanding of veterinary medicine, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and pet owners.
Duties
Conduct examinations of cats and dogs to assess their health and diagnose any conditions.
Develop treatment plans for various medical conditions, including administering vaccinations, medications, and performing surgeries as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their animal's health, treatment options, and preventive care.
Collaborate with staff to ensure the highest level of care is provided.
Participate in laboratory work as necessary, including interpreting laboratory results to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
Experience
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
Valid veterinary license in Ontario.
Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Familiarity with laboratory procedures and diagnostics is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
