Located in the SE of Calgary, Douglas Square Pet Clinic is a forward-thinking small-animal clinic. We take pride in maintaining a high level of care and service for our clients and patients. Our entire team, from receptionists to the Vets, dedicate themselves to every patient we encounter. We are a tight-knit, professional, and welcoming team. We offer a wide range of general practice services, from wellness exams and vaccinations to routine and specialized surgeries.
Duties
:
- Conduct thorough physical examinations on animals to diagnose health conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans for sick or injured animals
- Perform surgical procedures as needed
- Administer vaccinations and medications
- Educate pet owners on preventive care and treatment options
- Maintain detailed records of patient care
Skills
:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid ABVMA license in good standing
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members
- Compassion and empathy towards animals and their owners
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Experience in laboratory procedures is a plus
