Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in providing care to animals up to 40 lbs. in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting
- Perform laboratory tests, including blood tests, urinalysis, and fecal examinations
- Prepare samples for analysis and maintain accurate records of test results
- Assist with radiography and other diagnostic imaging procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Provide assistance during surgical procedures, including monitoring anesthesia and sterilizing surgical instruments
- Clean and maintain examination rooms, treatment areas, and laboratory equipment
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility preferred (1-2 years minimum)
- Knowledge of basic animal care and handling techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide compassionate care to animals

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
