Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality care to animals while assisting veterinarians in diagnosing and treating various conditions. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure that our furry patients receive the best possible care in a supportive and friendly environment.

Duties

Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures. Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed. Perform laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams. Monitor the health and behavior of animals before, during, and after procedures. Maintain accurate medical records for each patient. Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and preventive health measures. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment. Handle animal restraint safely and effectively during examinations or treatments.

Skills

Proficiency in laboratory procedures and techniques is essential. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Compassionate attitude towards animals and their well-being. Knowledge of veterinary terminology and medical practices is preferred.
