Office Location:

Barrie, ON (This role does not provide remote or hybrid work).



Responsibilities for a Verification Agent:




Verify applicant income by contacting employers through phone or email to confirm employment and earnings details Review deal structures and submission details for accuracy and completeness Assess credit reports and validate proof of income documentation Provide prompt and professional support to dealer partners, addressing all inquiries with a customer-first mindset Send banking links for applicable deals to facilitate funding Collaborate closely with the Sales team to support and finalize deal closures Adhere to the 3 P's: Policy, Process, and Procedure Demonstrate a team-oriented mindset and bring your full self to work each day Embody Northlake's core values: accountability, integrity, speed, and innovation Perform other duties as required


Requirements for a Verification Agent:




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal. Critical-thinking and ability to identify problems and inconsistencies. Strong teamwork and collaboration to ensure process efficiencies. Strong analysis skills and knowledge on how to analyze data, documents, user inputs, and workflows. Continuous learning mindset for continued growth opportunities.



Qualifications of a Verification Agent:




High school diploma or equivalent education required 1-2 years' experience in financial services or a relatable role Intermediate skill set in Microsoft 365 & Adobe



Compensation:




Base Salary of $40,000 annually Comprehensive Benefits Package including health and dental coverage Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for mental health and wellness support Bonusly employee recognition and rewards platform
