Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor, the Vehicle Maintenance Assistant is responsible for assisting Journeymen with maintenance activities, spare parts organization and general workshop housekeeping tasks.



Essential Job Functions

Assist Journeymen with maintenance tasks Spare parts pickup and organization Workshop housekeeping

Required Qualifications and Abilities

Must have Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent Mechanical experience an asset Must have a valid driver's license (Abstract Required) Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions Must be able to work in potentially hazardous environment with exposure to variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts Willing to learn and take direction Able to safely and responsibly operate company vehicles
