Levitt-Safety has an exciting opportunity for an experienced technician to join our team as a Service Technician for Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems (VFSS) in Thunder Bay, ON.



Main Responsibilities



Your role will include diverse maintenance and repair activities including:



Inspecting, repairing, and providing maintenance of vehicle fire suppression systems and other types of Fire & Life Safety Equipment at various customer sites Conducting life safety inspections and audits, with value-add suggestions for follow-up and maintenance Performing site-specific training for owners and end users Occasional overnight / extended travel to customer sites Being the Face of Levitt-Safety for our customers and their onsite safety needs

Qualifications:

Experience working in a mechanical shop or equivalent hands-on role with vehicles or other motorized equipment Basic electrical knowledge and mechanical aptitude with experience working with power and hand tools Previous experience working with fire suppression systems is a strong asset Comfortable working in underground mining operations A valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract Prior customer service experience and great communication skills Able to work with technology and mobile devices
