We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented

Vehicle Detailer

to join our maintenance team at Thomas Cavanagh Construction. This position is responsible for cleaning and detailing a wide range of company vehicles, including pickups, service trucks, and heavy-duty vehicles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Polishing various types of metals and surfaces for equipment using electric and pneumatic power tools. Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning and detailing of company vehicles, including vacuuming, pressure washing, polishing, and surface treatments. Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and report any damages, maintenance issues, or irregularities to the team lead. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing bay and related tools and supplies. Apply protective finishes such as wax, sealants, and undercoating to prolong vehicle condition. Assist with other tasks in the Fleet Maintenance Department as needed.

Requirements:

Previous experience in vehicle detailing, auto cleaning, or a related field is preferred. Experience with vinyl decal installation would be an asset. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods. Valid driver's license and own form of transportation.
