As a
Vehicle Coordinator
, you will be responsible for scheduling and monitoring vehicle transports, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring that vehicles flow seamlessly through each stage of the process--from arrival to final delivery. A proactive mindset, strong communication abilities, and commitment to operational excellence are key to success in this role.
You will play a vital role in supporting our sales and operations teams by keeping inventory organized, minimizing turnaround times, and ensuring that every vehicle is where it needs to be, when it needs to be there.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Greets customers in a professional, courteous and efficient manner, and welcoming them to our Dealership.
Assists in ensuring the neat appearance of the dealership
Transportation of vehicles from Dealerships to Vehicle Lot and Oceanex
Physically checks vehicles into the dealership, noting and reporting any damage to the Operations Manager
Runs miscellaneous errands for the dealership
Identifies keys with proper tags for new vehicles
Various other duties as required
Qualifications
Experience:
Experience in logistics, transportation coordination, automotive inventory, or dealership operations (preferred).
Knowledge:
Familiarity with vehicle transport procedures, inventory systems, and fleet management.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with inventory or logistics software is an asset.
Organizational Skills:
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple transport schedules and priorities simultaneously.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to coordinate effectively with drivers, dealerships, and management.
Problem-Solving:
Proactive approach to resolving scheduling conflicts and transportation delays.
License:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Class 5 or equivalent).
Adaptability:
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Teamwork:
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure vehicle flow efficiency.
