Come join S&R Mechanicals' Virtual Design & Construction Team.

We are industry leaders in this area. Our dynamic team enjoys collaborating to innovate and use their creativity to take our Construction Projects to the next level. We make use of integrated multi-disciplinary 3D performance models to digitally visualize and plan all aspects of a construction project. We work closely with our Project Site Team and Pre-Fabrication Shop team to make our designs come to life using state of the art processes and machinery.

Responsibilities include, but is not limited to:

The VDC Technician will play a key role in the development of fabrication-quality models for Plumbing and Mechanical systems.

Design and draft layouts of commercial plumbing/heating systems Prepare pre-fabrication drawings Prepare work packages for on-site installation Draft interference drawings for coordination with other trades Attend Various project meetings Support in the development of standard processes and procedures Liaise with President, Project Managers and Site Leaders Continuous self-development and ongoing training Ad-hoc projects

Qualifications:

College or University level Engineering diploma Experience with Revit is a strong asset Knowledge of VDC/BIM Knowledge/experience of Fabrication CADmep, AutoCAD, Dynamo and Navisworks are all assets 1-3 years' experience in construction, pre-fabrication, engineering, or related field is an asset Competent reading and understanding construction/technical drawings is required Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Plumbing/HVAC knowledge is a an asset Coding Skills are an asset Bilingualism (English and French) is required
