Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
Assist customers in selecting products by understanding their preferences and needs, offering knowledgeable recommendations
Conduct engaging product demos to showcase new or popular items, highlighting features and benefits effectively
Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
Manage stock levels by merchandising displays, stocking shelves, and organizing inventory efficiently
Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a customer-first approach
Maintain store cleanliness, organize merchandise, and ensure the store environment is inviting and well-presented
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
Requirements
Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
Supervising experience is a plus, with the ability to lead by example and assist team members when needed
Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively
Strong communication skills with an energetic attitude and positive demeanor
Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and POS operations
Ability to perform cashiering duties accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices
Familiarity with upselling strategies to enhance sales performance
Excellent phone etiquette for professional remote communication
