Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop their reading, writing, and communication skills while fostering a love for the English language. Responsibilities

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the diverse needs of students. Teach English language skills including reading, writing, grammar, and literature analysis. Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and share best practices. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special needs or disabilities. Utilize technology effectively in the classroom, including Microsoft Office and other educational software.

Skills

Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience working with children in an educational setting; prior classroom experience is preferred. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Organizational skills for maintaining lesson plans, student records, and classroom materials. Familiarity with tutoring techniques to support individual student learning needs. Computer skills for utilizing educational technology and resources effectively. Knowledge of early childhood education principles is beneficial.
