Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering customer's groceries to their homes/businesses efficiently, while providing excellent customer service. This role requires someone committed to safety, punctuality, and professionalism.

Duties

Safely operate a van to transport goods, ensuring timely deliveries to designated locations. Load and unload items, which may involve heavy lifting and moving of products. Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including pickup and drop-off times. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including the use of a jigger.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial driving or a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and team members. Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently. Effective communication skills for clear interaction with customers and colleagues.
