Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle various tasks related to warehouse operations and moving.

Duties

Safely operate a van to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and care during transportation. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, location, and contents. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Assist in warehouse operations, including organizing inventory and preparing items for shipment. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance. Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and schedules.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred, including knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including moving and handling heavy items. Experience operating forklifts is a plus but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during loading and unloading processes.

Pay: $20.00-$24.16 per hour
