Part-Time Vacuum Truck Operator

to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience operating vacuum trucks and a flexible schedule who takes pride in providing excellent service and maintaining a high standard of safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a vacuum truck to pump, haul, and dispose of liquid waste from grease traps, sumps, and other containment systems. Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vacuum truck and equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation. Accurately complete paperwork, service logs, and disposal manifests. Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls in a timely, professional manner. Work closely with dispatchers, technicians, and customers to coordinate services. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Assist with basic site preparation, hose handling, and customer support when required. Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and represent the company in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

Valid

Class 5

with a clean driving abstract. Preference given to candidates with air brake endorsement or class 3 license. Minimum

1-2 years of vacuum truck or related commercial driving experience

preferred. Strong understanding of safe vacuum truck operation, liquid waste handling, and environmental safety practices. Physically fit and able to perform labor-intensive tasks, including lifting hoses and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and be flexible with scheduling needs. Safety certifications such as (First Aid/CPR & WHMIS) considered an asset.
